You haven't made a wrong turn, and this is not the sewer of the ancients. This is the Cistern, an sophisticated artificial reservoir.
Sights to See
Within the cistern, are more marvels of ancient engineering. This time you will be marveled by their mastery over plumbing. Yes, indoor plumbing was available to the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Water isn't just something that sits there anymore. With some knowledge of fluid dynamics, the builders of the cistern have given you complete control of its ebb and flow all at the convenient touch of a switch.

Take a relaxing dip in the pool or a an endurance hand over hand marathon. You'll be able to make full use of our facilities to burn off those extra pounds you might have picked up on your vacation.
Local Fauna
The cistern is home to lots of crocodiles and rats. You'll also find a few gorillas and lions.
Tourism
I see your friend, Pierre, has caught up with you? So will the lady be changing her dinner reservations to two? Probably not.
Souvenirs
Keys. Lots of keys. Someone must have been terribly paranoid to have so many locks put on everything. Since there's so many locks, you're going to need the keys.
Hidden Treasures
There are three of them, and two of them are actually quite poorly hidden. Keep your eyes open, and they will be apparent. Since you're in the neighborhood anyhow, you might as well pick them up.
Hazards
The most common way you will injure yourself is from falling. Pay close attention to where you're going and how far it is to the ground. The next most common way to die is by drowning. Keep your cool and don't get disoriented underwater. Aside from these more natural causes, you will need to dodge a few bullets as well.
