Deeper into the Egyptian Ruins, you will find the Obelisk of
Khamoon. Hope you weren't disappointed by the city. It was just
a small taste of what lies ahead. Deep inside the city is a maze of
passages and rooms that flank a central spire, the obelisk.

Sights to See
Most of the interesting sights of Egypt, can be found here in or
around the obelisk room. The ancient Egyptians, obviously cared
greatly about their artifacts, becuase they've tucked their treasures
away behind lock and key and up where they are very hard to
reach |
But that should not be a problem for a seasoned tomb raider such as yourself. You will not find as many traps as you would expect, especially when remembering the city outside. You will be interested in changes in topography when you throw switches. Those ingenious Egyptians seem to have figured out how to set up a sophisticated lever that can turn a flat smooth stone slope into stairs.
Local Fauna
As before, expect to see some panthers, lots of panther mummies, and a
crocodile or two.

Souvenirs
You need to collect four artifacts to exit the Khamoon, and they are
all placed for public display on the four sides obelisk. How you're
going to get them, is the challenge for you. Before you even get a
glance a the obelisk, you will need to find one sapphire key that
opens the door to your adventures.

Hidden Treasures
Someone didn't even bother to hide two of the three secrets in this
level. They are in plain sight and would pose no challenge except for
the fact that it seems impossible to get to them. The last is not so
much hidden, but rather just out of your way.

Hazards
Panther mummies. There are a lot of panther mummies. If you can,
choose not to have a fist fight with a panther mummy. Aside from the
mummies, the other hazard is falling great distances to your death.
In the obelisk room, it isn't so bad, because there's a good chance
you'll plop into the water, but anywhere else... well... you know.
