Welcome to the third and final area within Egypt that is on your tour
itinerary, the Sanctuary of Scion.
|
Sights to See
Well, you thought that sphinx in the the Khamoon was big, well expect
to have your socks knocked off by the size of the sphinx on this level.
But the giant sphinx is not the only thing you'll see here. You will
marvel at the ability of the ancient Egyptians at stone-working when
you get a up close look at some statues they built to honor a couple
of their gods.
|
But don't let the name of this place fool you. This is hardly a sanctuary, and your little vacation will take some interesting turns from here. Keep your eyes and ears open and don't let your guard down for a minute. Hope you brought your mountain climbing gear, because that's the featured activity around here. Rest assured that you will get several opportunities to practice your marksmanship as well. Along with everything else this huge level has to offer, there's one more surprise: A reunion with an old friend.
Local Fauna
From this point forward, the locals you will be meeting will be quite
different from before. You should expect to run into some mummies,
zombies, centaurs and winged demons in the sanctuary.
|
Souvenirs
When you arrive you can see what you need, one Scarab to open the
gate on the left, and the Scarab is right in front of you on the
right, but unfortunately behind another gate. You will need a
Sapphire key and a pair of Ankhs to get to the Scarab. Oh, and don't
forget your true objective: the last piece of the scion!
|
Hidden Treasures
There is only one secret in this level, and it's quite a riddle,
because though it's plainly in sight, you will never see it. Look
hard because you really want what's there.
|
Hazards
Be very wary of the natives. They may look like panther mummies, but
they pack a much bigger punch. And because of the amount of mountain
climbing you are going to do, one of the greatest dangers is
plummeting to your death, and to make matters worse, there are winged
demons that are intent on giving you a push.
