The Great Wall
Items: 14
Kills: 23
On the trail of the Dagger of Xian? It makes good sense to start your search for it by visiting its legendary resting place. Somewhere deep within the mountains of China buried under the Great Wall. While here, you should stop and enjoy the magnificent scenery and the fresh air.
Sights to See
Welcome to the scenic Great Wall of China. Constructed by different ancient Chinese states to fend off the Huns to the north, the individual sections were not connected until the Qin Dynasty. Stretching over four thousand two hundred miles, the wall is as magnificent a sight as as the surrounding mountains.

Built, quite literally in some cases, on the backs of local peasants and forced laborers, work on the wall continued through the Ming Dynasty. Local peasants still believe that sophisticated tunnels exist within the wall that lead to hidden treasures within the mountains it crosses, but no one who has ventured in search of these tunnels have ever returned to confirm or deny their existence.

Local Fauna
Indigenous to the mountains of China are Bengal tigers and crows. Also, local to the area are enormous spiders that can drop from above without warning. These spiders prefer dark caves or old structures. Local villagers believe that great dragons live within these majestic mountains, but those are just rumors and legends that they circulate.
Hidden Treasures
Two of the secrets are placed in plain sight. The first is simply a bit out of your way, and the latter is a matter of hurrying. The last secret is in a part of this region that you might breeze right past if you don't check out all your options.
Hazards
The Bengal tigers are mean, but fairly easy to bag if you don't let them get behind you. Aside from them, there are those annoying spiders that drop on you without warning. Although they do not inflict much damage, their size makes them hard targets to hit. Don't just stand there, keep some distance between from them. Besides the local fauna, be aware that many of the areas are booby-trapped. Stay alert and when in doubt, keep moving!
