Living Quarters
Items: 14
Kills: 21
Isn't it amazing what a bomb can do to a ship? Your little swim has brought you to the engine room and Living Quarters of the Maria Doria. Unlike the rest of the ship, this part of it has sunk right side up.
Sights to See
It will become quite apparent as you visit this part of the Maria Doria, at what cost Gianni Bartoli paid to sail in the finest of sea vessels. Your tour of the Maria Doria will continue in two parts.

First you will visit the engine room and surrounding areas. Note the enormity of the engine and the pistons. This big ship could travel at a fair clip when propelled by this large engine. Despite the damage of a saboteur's bomb, this engine apparently still functions.

While this gigantic engine insures the passengers of the Maria Doria a safe and prompt arrival at their intended destination, their comfort while in transit is is guaranteed by its impressive ventilation system, which is also on the tour.

But perhaps the technical bores you, and you are more interested in the finer things in life and the arts. Bartoli was also so inclined. The machinery pales in comparison to the majesty of the living quarters aboard this vessel. Not satisfied with mere creature comforts, Bartoli intended this ship to be downright opulent with entertainment available in a on board theatre. It's a shame that there is nothing playing, but stop by and take a look around. Perhaps a drama will yet unfold.
Local Fauna
There isn't much aquatic life to speak of here. It's strange, isn't it? That just before, the sea was teeming with life, and suddenly there isn't a fish to be seen. Wondering if there's some big ocean predator prowling these waters? That'd be a good bet, if you ask us.
Salvage Crew
Most of this area is sparsely guarded by crew men. Expect to see some thugs and rig workers and one scuba diver thrown in for good measure.
Souvenirs
There's not much you need here. If you want to get into the show, you won't need a ticket, just the key to the door.
Hidden Treasures
The secrets in the living quarters can be had by anyone with eyes to see the. No one bothered to hide any of them very well.
Hazards
The first two thirds of this level, the greatest danger will be falling from some great height or drowning. The rest, Lara will have to worry about getting eaten by a huge sea serpent, or killed by cult guards who seem to prefer the comfort of the living quarters than the machinery of the engine room.
